ABOUT
Poppi is a Spanish-born, UK-raised neurodivergent producer and AD based between Barcelona and London.

Her work as a producer spans short films, documentaries, and podcasts, and aims to champion complex characters and underrepresented voices.

Her latest short, The Birth of a Mall Goth (dir. Samantha Locock), stars Emily Carey (Geek Girl, House of the Dragon) and Lola Blue (A Kind of Spark). Mall Goths premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival and is an official selection of the BAFTA-qualifying Oska Bright Film Festival, Academy Award-qualifying Cinequest Film Festival, and BIFA-qualifying Ramsgate Film Festival.

In 2017-2018, Poppi trained in documentary filmmaking in Barcelona with award-winning production company OTOXO Productions, with whom she is currently collaborating on her first feature documentary, which is in production. 

With a background in History and English Literature (Queen Mary University of London, 2014-2017), she later went on to study an MA in International Studies on Media, Power and Difference (Pompeu Fabra University, 2020-2021) and has written several articles for online outlets about human rights and environmental issues.
